Direct HPFP upgrades

Have anyone heard about HPFP upgrades for the N55 engines?

http://www.xtreme-di.com/index_files/HPFP35.htm

https://www.***********.com/showthre...other-BMW-I6-s)

Are the late E series HPFP and F series HPFP basically the same?

Late E and F series uses the same pump style indeed.

TTFS already has two M2's on PS2 running their SS5 dual pump upgrade. Also, TTFS teamed up with Xtreme-di “XDI” to develop variations of their current fuel upgrade as per another forum. Anyhow, I haven't heard anything else since they team up. It's expensive! They asking over $5k just for S55 dual pump upgrade.

the TTFS solution is stupidly expensive but we are talking about dual HPFP here...

The XDI solution should costs around half i think as its just replacing the oem HPFP. They offer two solutions. The first flows 30% more and the more expensive one flows 60% more.

XDI starts at $1.5k. The pump upgrade should be a better and cleaner solution compared to PI but it still pricey.

Almost forgot to mention, Twisted Tuning is working on a HPFP upgrade too.

It was at the beginning. Now, he’s pushing on late E and F-series because they can’t barely can run E30 on stock pump and stock turbo.

I am not very optimistic but it would be cool to see something hit the market. I have been trying to figure out how their E30 tune is setup for late E series. I figured it would be 14 or 15 psi with a lot of timing. I asked the question in the MHD thread and didn't get a straight answer.

+1 would love a 'solution' to late E9x N55 HPFP rail pressure issues under high boost. The 'stock' MHD Stage 2+ maps didn't work on my car due to falling rail pressure. See purple line. Seems all 2011-2013 E9x N55's are similarly afflicted due to pump changes from higher-flowing the N54 version. Ultimately I went with a custom map with less boost and slower 'onset'.

Yeah... late e series hpfp will crap out even on pump gas with large turbo upgrade. I cant wait for a more affordable high flow hpfp solution. Spending 5k for a m4 dual hpfp setup is too rich for my blood...

There's always VTTs double barrel set up. Seems like it's actually working out for people so far. I don't think it fits x drive cars though.

I believe that is only for early n55's. Most of us are looking for a late (2012+) E-series and F-series upgrade.

The link OP posted, does that solution actually work for M3 and M4s or is it something that's still in development? It really will be nice if someone can come up with a solution for the late E-series folks.
Anyone know what's the biggest constraint in developing a solution?

Who's working on it? The more I research into this, the more I start to realize it's gonna take a while for any solution to come out at best

Post #2 mentioned it or you can search for "TTFS N55 Dual HPFP Factory Upgrade" in google.

The product works for the BMW M2 so it might also work for the late E series N55...

Yes I have already seen the $5K solution but I was referring to the "affordable solution"

Are they for sale yet or still being developed?

All i can say is the number of guinea pigs on this forum running maps that our HPFP cannot handle (dropped pressure) is astonishing. That condition is very dangerous and damaging for the motor.

Quick question.
My high pressure fuel pump readings are in the negative unless I really punch the accelerator
