Personally, I think the oyster is a winner with TN. For me the red interior only works well with BSM, AW, MW, and BGM.

Dinan intake and braces installed (sorta)

I installed the Dinan Intake today, everything installed pretty good. I did not cut the lower hose clamp. I followed the instructions in the video below starting at 3:28.

Also, I attempted to install the Dinan braces but the bolts provided were the wrong size, and the Pro-Bolts that I ordered matched those sizes. However, the 60MM bolt is is too skinny to thread properly.

I'll have to reach out to them regarding the bolt size. See below for the installed pic.

That looks awesome installed, especially like the red bolts for the brace. Unfortunate about the bolts they gave you not fitting though. Hopefully they get that sorted for you quickly.

Actually, it turns out that contrary to braces that I have in the past, these braces don't actually thread into the body structure, but merely passes through the body structure. The bolt that passes through on both the front are loose and the clamping force itself is all that keeps the bolt in place. The bolt itself sits loosely, honestly, it is a god awful solution. In my head I just imagine that bolt rubbing against the inside. Anyways, I won't be installing the braces. So disappointed.

Glad someone had the balls to do TNM with Tacora Red and red brakes... hats off to you. I like the spice it has. Anyone seen Oyster with TNM? It looked amazing on the configurator until I was able to get a better look at that interior and it was darker than I anticipated.

I see this is an old post but how do you feel about the Thundernight Metallic/Tacora Red combo after owning this car for 8 months or so?

I know you were asking OP but FWIW I took delivery of the same combo (+ZTK) around the same time and have 0 regrets on my end. Still glad I chose it.

Really looks great. Wish that Thundernight was available on the G87 M2!

If thundernight was available for the g87 I would have put in an order already. Weak launch colors IMO
