Why is it that BMW and some other mfgs purposely try to use styling elements that raises the visual height of the car? Any time they do the black trim along the bottom edge, it makes the car look a lot higher. That large black door sticker spaced half a foot higher doesn't help either. So lame.

On an all-black car (including shadowline) it would look fine. Still not a fan of the taillights and I'd rather have round exhausts pipes, but I suppose I can live with that. The side sticker just look silly though.

This makes me excited for the G87 M2 even more, this is a stunning car imo. Certainly takes some getting used to like all new BMWs, but the more I see it the more I like it.

I can't believe an M240i looks this amazing.

If you would have told me this was the new M2, or M4 for that matter, I wouldn't doubt it.

The new 2-series is a home-run so far and just keeps getting better and better.

Sticker is ok but on wrong place. This car should have sticker on front part of rear fender, something like 911 to prevent rock hit scraching.

I would need to see it in a different position to decide but it's no good where it is

Definitely mate, it's got a set of hips. Looks great in my opinion and will look even better with 10-15mm wheel spacers and 15-20mm lowering springs

Needs serious lowering, lose the sticker, don't like the triangle intakes or the exhaust tips & why is BMW persisting in painting the lower section of cars black ? It makes the cars look even higher than they already are.
On the upside I do like the rims & mirrors, also good to see they finally worked out the rear spoiler should be fitted to the rear edge of the boot lid.
As with the G80/2 & likely the upcoming G87 this car will definitely look best in black so it hides the tacky design elements & painted lower sections.

And suspension alignment. To add more negative camber. All new BMWs understeer for safety reason. With more negative camber and minimal toe in car is perfectly neutral.

Praying the 2023 M3 looks better lower, wider, and with a revised front fascia. I really want to buy it if so. Will be my first M car purchased brand new.
