Maybe with more options. If you just convert the UK starting price to USD you can already tell it's not going to be 1:1.

It's not a straight conversion. The starting price in USD is $62,200 vs starting price in Pounds is 63,820 or $70,600. I figure your spec will be right around $73k USD when the config is up.

So basically a good $10K more than I paid for my 2021 M2C. Yowza. Good thing I'm not in the market for this car....Yet. Maybe a few years down the road.

What was your spec? I was assuming carbon package? Mine will be right around $66k with a stick and most options except for carbon roof/seats/trim.

Selected optional equipment
£0.00

VAT (20%)

The U.S. base price was announced last night. “The 2023 BMW M2 goes on sale in April 2023 with a base MSRP of $62,200 plus $995 destination and handling.”

For those that are aware or have not seen the MSRP yet.

When I try, I find that it comes with a lot of 'stuff' (which I might like), a manual transmission is quite a bit more expensive, and there a just two 'Packs' which don't do it for me.

However, if I change the seat material, many other things also change?

Safari for reference...

If you change to the Full leather merino it automatically selects the bucket seats and the wheels change too so in UK it goes up to £70860 or an increase of £6345.

Shows the wheels are 930M, but aren't they just gloss Black 825Ms?

It wasn't a revelation, there was always going to more options available for G87. F87 options basically consisted of...paint, exec pack, sunroof.

I'm actually okay with what it comes with as 'standard' (with the possible exception of the roof). Based on previous experience, retrofitting is both possible and fun.

I have never bought a brand new car and my M2C is second hand albeit new. I was just surprised at how equipped this G87 comes with as standard especially the CF roof so i only added the comfort pack. not ordering yet though

Might be possible that they aren't forged like the 825M. Gotta save cost somehow
