Cable for coding?

Hi Folks,

First up, sorry if the answer to this question may seem like easy or obvious to some but I am not as smart as you folks then I guess

I have a 2009 E90 LCI 328i and I have the acid battery (white in color 90ah 720A) I need a new battery that I will need to register and for that I plan on using Carly with a cable rather than buying carly's expensive wifi adapter.

What cable do I need to buy for my car? Any idea? I tried to look up some posts/threads in different forum's here but all it did was leave me confused.

Any help will be appreciated
