Seriously hoping for a Cognac or similar brown interior option. New paints colors seem good. Maybe full Individual paint?

No, I'm your salvation.
No, I mean base M2 as opposed to an M2 CS or M2 CSL. I'm only going by the pixelated picture which appears to show the new wheel, but I cannot validate that from the backend. No one knows 100% if this will be LCI or not. My money is that it's not an LCI, we shall see when BMW does an official reveal. I don't expect that to happen in months, but rather in the coming weeks. |

It applies to BMW and Porsche. All those who say “unbelievable that a $60k car doesn’t have such that a Civic does” should buy the Civic as they are missing where the money goes in a BMW or Porsche. And it isn’t in features, it’s underneath the car and materials. A Hyundai is the Best Buy for those looking for features. I bet if he had said the same in the F87 forum you’d be agreeing with what I said. The F87 has even less features compared to the F80. No HUD, no seat colour options, less exterior colours, etc etc. and that’s the purpose and product positioning. Nothing wrong with that. But alas, you always come here to lurk anyway, so enjoy the pictures of the cars you don’t own. |

https://www.bmwusa.com/build-your-ow...ior/upholstery Cognac (and its similar iterations) is "classic old school German." Some of us are old enough to remember that; similar color interior with black exterior was extremely popular in the later 1980's M5 cars. My intent when ordering my was to replicate that look. I changed to a 2025 order a few weeks ago due to the confirmed power upgrade and will now have to change interior and exterior colors as I just don't want a black car with a black interior (regardless of red or blue contrasting trim options). The elimination of cognac from the M2 all about cost cutting on BMW's part, along with them looking to push more people into the more profitable M4 cars (which offer far more interior color choices as I've mentioned). Simple as that. Last edited by m2not1LE; 05-02-2024 at 04:09 PM.. |
