M57 turbo cross over?
I recently saw one or two times on my 2011 335D it seemed that my turbos got stuck in the big turbo or high end turbo setting. I have a boost gauge and normally it doesn’t read lots of vacuum however it was pulling almost -9 pounds When I wasn’t on the gas when I did get on the gas, it would spool, but you could hear the turbos weren’t correct sounding to say and the small turbo just didn’t seem to be there. I had a problem recently with the cross over to the big turbo so I swapped out the main vacuum lines and the boost pressure solenoids, and all of those and the problem went away completely. Not sure what this is any ideas? It goes away when I turn the car off and back on

Check the compressor bypass and the ev valve/vac line that controls it. Located front of motor. EV valve is under the pressure convertors located besides the vac reservoir.

Follow the vac line that goes down to the front of the engine near the waterpump..
Then follow it the other way to find where the EV valve is located.

Vacuum pump ever been replaced? Seals leaking? There's also a inline screen or sorts where it connects to the rest of the system, see if that's clogged.

You'll see if it's leaking or not. Right at the front of the engine. I'd pull the hose that's connected to it and check the screen.
