I know you've been looking at Hartge, Remus, etc. The addition of another muffler on your car would be superfluous (i.e., not necessary), but if that's the way you want to go, you might consider adapting a 335i (stock or aftermarket) exhaust to your car. You would have to purchase the 335i storage trough and exhaust shielding that goes underneath. Then have a muffler shop do a custom fitment. I too had long wanted a true dual muffler quad system, but realized I was too practical to get rid of the nice storage area in the trunk. |

the 1st pic didn't look like it had 2 mufflers i don't really use the storage area, just don't want to bother customizing the whole car jsut to add another muffler... |

You're right about that first photo. As far as customizing is concerned, the storage trough would be very easy to trade out, and the 335i one is less than $100.

Placing the muffler to favor one side (like the Eisenmann quad) usually makes the exhaust look lop-sided when the gases are visible in cold weather...
Like if a non-M E46 were to run a pipe from it's single muffler over to the other side, making it look like a dual exhaust. More exhaust gases would come out the left side, but only a trickle of visible gases would come out the right. Whatever though, it still looks wicked |

BMW MOD forum
I am trying to start a forum directly focusing on this issue. I already have it all pretty much setup, but i am looking for some admins, HTML people, writers, Moderators, etc.. to help me get it going and up to speed. There will be revenue sharing, and a chance to be on the ground floor of something that is sure to be as big as e90post.com someday, focusing on BMW's and all the cool ways people are tricking them out across the world.
PM me if you are interested and I'll talk to you about the info needed.
