Diagnosis - Limp mode, DPF EGR issues
Hi,
I’m very much a car noob so bare with me. 2010 BMW 318d m sport e90. Background: Jan 2024: I’m on motorway and my dashboard suddenly had a disco. DPF light, limp mode, and EML all kicked in. Codes were showing EGR fault. 22 Jan 2024: I had EGR valve and intake breather replaced, took her for a blast with dpf cleanser and all was good again. ~22 Feb 2024: car went back into limp mode. Got DPF gutted, EGR removed and mapped. Car didn’t get out of limp mode, OBD was showing no codes at all so had to have the map taken back off. Current situation: Map taken off. Of course I’m expecting some the EGR and DPF codes Scanned again and this is what we got: 4530 - Charge Air Pressure Control Small Turbo Control Deviation 4868 Air System, Air To EGR Mass Flow Plausibility 486A Air System, Air To EGR Mass Flow Plausibility 40D4 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Controller Position Control 4B82 EGR Rate Control Deviation 4AF5 Zero Quantity Adaptation Cylinder 3 Injector Any thoughts on where to go from here? Any help would be appreciated. |
