Am I crazy or is the hood and bumper fitment and color matching on the M2 looking like the car was in a wreck? That looks horrible.

I still can't get over the looks of this car. At least the g80 had rear curves that matched the front. Something about the curved rear lights and angular front fascia doesn't sit well with me.
Those lights work on the new x3 cos they match the curved-ish front fascia. |

The G87 looks bigger. And more imposing.

Honestly who cares about the 330/m3. I think it's just a good reference point for the size of the m2

You are correct looks off. But seeing this color in person it's terrible. Reflects light weird. And the shapes on the car don't help it

Isn't the first rule of taking pictures that you place the light source behind the camera? Continuously amazed how many people apparently have zero idea how to take a picture.

Thanks for the pictures.
Bad idea by the designer to purposely break up the transition from the hood to the top of the front bumper. In lighting conditions that highlight this, the front looks aftermarket and unrefined in that area. Otherwise, car looks fabulous. |

Remember not to backlight your photos kids, unless you like, want to be artsy and stuff.

The hood to bumper fitment is what I have noticed before on other cars. The two surfaces are on completely different planes. Makes the bumper look like an afterthought.
