I had a Toronto red m4 comp before somebody ran a red and sent me through a train stop. It definitely looks orangish in bright sun. It was gorgeous and I can't tell you how many comments and thumbs ups I got driving that car. It's definitely the color I'll be getting when my number comes up.

Looking at these TR pics, I think the M2 looks best in TR.

It does the best job of softening the lines of the car especially hides the shape of bulbous read bumper better than any of the other color choices and imo the best color for the M2. Even does a great job blending into the black area of the exhaust/diffuser area.

I think it's that high gloss of the red that help soften the hard lines and shape.

I feel like AW, BS and BG are safe choices in terms of knowing what you're going to get, but they're also not as exciting to me.

In contrast, ZB and TR seem to have so much more variability - depending on the light, both of them can look like either the best color or the worst color. Lots of risk/reward with those two.

I wonder if there are any legacy colors that are widely loved but also have photos where the lighting makes them look unappealing. That would actually set my mind at ease and make it easier to overlook some of ZB's and TR's less flattering pictures.

I have a deposit down on ZB, but of course that's non-binding until I get an allocation.

In 90% of the photos, ZB is my favorite color but as we know, when photographed in certain bright light, it can look either washed out or sometimes, almost neon. That concerns me.
