Toronto Red G87 M2 Walk Around

Saw an X3M in TR. I just don’t think you can capture the orange well in photos. I did find zooming in on photos seems to show the orange a bit more. It is definitely more of a tomato color than red. Here’s a photo I took zoomed in but again really doesn’t show up.

That’s an X5M in that photo.

As aforementioned, the only two colors that you are guaranteed of knowing what you are going to get, sight unseen, is with AW and BSM.

Looks good to me. I like the hint of orange. It’s a very fiery red. I just wish it had a bit more metallic flake in it.

Haha! You’re right. They had both. Here’s the X3 as a correction.

Zoom in on the red brake caliper and note the difference.

Unfortunately, the M2 I saw today was ZB, however there was a TR X4M in the showroom. I tried to capture the color with the camera so that it was as close as possible to how it looked to my eyes, this is the best I could do.

If anyone is more familiar with the Mini palette, TR is very close - if not the same - to this Mini in the foreground, and not like the one in the background (it was overcast/snowy).

Looks red and I like it very much. Nice photo's. Happy this is the color for my order!

I was simply stating a fact given that you have been extremely adamant to diss Toronto Red. Admittedly the exterior color palette for the G87 is far from perfect, but we have to work with what we have been offered.

I have never cared for the red calipers paired with TR as it clashes. I feel that the blue calipers work well. Black calipers would be my preference if they were offered.

Oh no it was not my intention to denigrate the TR or discourage its purchase, it would not be my choice but nothing against those who like it.

The link works best in high res in the YouTube app. TR looks good. Non shadowline headlines look good too. Not feeling all of the carbon bits… the side spat things and wings seem too much.

It is equipped with the base, standard headlights as well.

My 0.02, The DRL’s from the Lighting Package make a significant difference to the front end of the G87.
