Created my own phone mount. I really did not like the phone mounts that block the controls for the passenger and the air vent. I kept waiting for a vendor to make a dash mounted option.

So I designed the 3DP my own, fits any Pro Clip mount. I can see HWR while I am driving much better too.

I also have after market winter wheel, they have a 57mm center cap. So I 3DP my owner center cap and found a 57mm BMW wheel cap emblem, these have survived since November with no issue.

Are you willing to share that mount file?

Noticed you have hardwired your radar, and I’m looking to do the same thing. Did you find a guide or anything on how to get trim pieces off, and where to tap into power?

I just made a change to the mount size, gave more contact area on the dash, from 0.5 deep to 1.0" and moved the center of gravity back towards the dash. I was having adhesion issues, plus needed to print it in PETG, PLA PLUS was warping in the sun, so far so good, I'll post the .stl soon.

Really nice build! I really like everything you did on it!

I would have chose the basic interior trim to replace it as you did with the M Performance carbon trim if it did not delete the M colours

Please & thanks

The item is no longer for sale, try ALi expess or Ebay. Look for G20 items.

It has more growl, no drone, it is louder than stock. Like it should have come from the factory, sporty, but not over the top. I didn't want an exhaust that became annoying because it was too loud or drone in the cabin. Not like installing the Dinan, which is very loud all the time with some drone. With the windows closed, not alot louder, you can hear it much better with the windows open. The AA downpipe is soon, that will really open up the sound. Then I will have what I was looking for.

This looks sick!

For the quad tips, it says in the link you provided to get a flush look you'd have to trim down the MPE. Did you end up doing that or just leave as is?

Thanks

I did not need to cut, they were able to cheat it on the hangers and move the tips with-in thier range to get that fit. The shop really didn't want to chop, as everything is at an angle or right up against one. They wanted them to be straight without cutting.

I'll grab some video from my dash cam, see if we can get some sound clips.

This video is very accurate to the MPE vs Stock

This was a good comparison of Milltek vs MPE

Sound seems to be incredible with MPE! Even more than a full exhaust from Milltek. That's quite interesting!
