Yes, they are replacements for the large bolts that connect the bracket to the car.

Initially I used the factory large bolts without washers and had washers on only the small bolts. I decided to remove the washers on the small bolts and instead put washers on the longer large bolt I linked above. I put blue loctite on all bolts just in case.

On the second image you will see only 4 washers, I ended up adding one more for a total of 5, with this many I was able to slide a credit card between the stainless mesh/rivets that I added and the oil cooler.

The washer comparison shows the gap provided by the washers I had on the small bolts versus the 5 on the large bolts.

What I did is use an oversized nut instead of stacking washers. Either way will work as long as you have a gap. Also, I didn't need to use a longer bolt, I thought the threads were fine and as long as there are threads to tighten the bolt you will be fine.

Edit: I used nuts under the hex bolts not the main bolt.

I installed my Turner skid plate without the steel mesh modification and was able to get an adequate clearance gap with just one 2.5mm thick M10 washer between the skid plate mounting bracket and the frame.

I also used the M10-1.5 x 30mm hex bolts to make sure I would have enough thread length.

I have a black insulation which he says is blocking the proper fitment. I think not. The bracket is too long/ plate not wide enough.

Maybe measure from hole to hole and send that distance to TMS, there’s no way you have the only G42 that the plate doesn’t fit on. It has to be the wrong part, or a manufacturing defect.

Apparently there is a layer of insulation that did not exist on the previous years. That’s what they think, but I think it won’t fit regardless. Anyways, they offer to return it, however I’m taking my chance. I think one screw per side will hold it.
