[QUOTE=nype;31023770]Fast FC04 wheels?

What width and offset?
19x8.5 (square)

Why did you put thicker spacers on the front? Because I’m running 255/35 square and need 20mm due to the 45 offset the fast wheels were .

Exactly ( fast fco4) had them shipp from Canada 2 years back and had them on my m235i gran coupe . They are a 45 offset so I had to use 20mm spacers in front and 15mm spacers in back to use them again but it worked .
Love these wheels they are so light changed my steering from how heavy and tight to light as a feather now

Good to know. If the sub enclosures aren't sealed with glue that would make the install a whole lot easier.

fitment is b+/a-. the edges that connect the three pieces arent an immaculate fit, but its not noticeable unless youre nitpicking. also added some extra strips of double sided tape just to ensure a secure fit. reused the factory screws, didnt feel the need to use the self tapping screws it came with.

i did manage to screw up a tiny bit when screwing in a bit that connects and locks the separate pieces together... i almost drilled through the spoiler. now it looks like a tiny zit poking out, but barely noticeable. all good, not catastrophic and couldve been worse.

picture quality isnt great. i was in a rush to finish up.
I did the same thing lol

Nice! Congrats buddy, how did the install go? How are you liking the sound? That looks very similar to the MST intake/inlet.

Thank you ! Install went very well , thanks to your help. Had I not know about the intricacies , I very likely would have broken the PVC vent tube. And I probably would have thought it wasn't going to all fit together.

It sounds so good, omg. Even if it provides zero hp gains, the sound is worth it.

The kit is identical to MST and IAW , expect for the filter. But I like the filter with this kit, it seems to be good quality. Everything is good quality.

Looks like you jacked it up via the rear diff. How did that work out? Any issues?

No issues, works great! Think someone posted a page from a manual that confirms it's an acceptable jacking point on our cars.

Installed some new trim pieces from IAW. Really happy with how it turned out, and not nearly as hard as I expected (except that center console piece, that sucked)

Installed dinan cf intake today. I really can't hear it mpe and downpipe may drown it out a little. I'm honestly not upset I wanted to do some cf bits under the hood and it looks pretty good.

You hear no difference in intake sound? It was night and day for me (though, I have an MST). How loud is your mpe and downpipe?

Yep, very audible. Whether it's the whoosh of air during acceleration , or the flutter when letting off throttle - sounds great.

Just changed oil on the whip at around 3600 miles. Oil looked clean, put one of those neodymium magnet in the drain pan and didn't find much shavings at all. Will check the filter later.

Only 6 liters came out so I put 6 liters back in. Car is reading oil just below max level. I think it's enough for now, don't think I need to put in another half liter, but if I'm wrong, please let me know.

i wanted to add, and something ive seen in the forums too, that the oil plug was not very tight when i went to drain the oil. there were no leaks coming from it, as the drain plug is usually threaded a million times, but something to note.

Finally installed the side winglets. they were a bit more complicated than i had anticipated. ordered the gloss black from autoid and they didnt come pre-drilled or pre-taped so it was a bit harrowing to think i might drill in the wrong spot. decided to just wing it (pun intended).

drilled the two screws in and placed the tape where they need to be. one of the screws was too short to catch so i had to go look for a few extras in my garage. there are supposedly five other places on the winglet to put in self tapping screws, but im not sure if i want to keep these on so i decided to forego those for now. im sure the winglets wont fall off, the 3m tape is pretty secure.

just ordered the aa downpipe from xph and im contemplating ordering the iaw intake/inlet. and that should be it for now. i think. ha. happy easter fellow bimnerds.

Angry More damn snow!

I thought the snow was done as well, but now the forecast around here (MA-NH border) is for "several inches of wet snow/slush," which means more salt on the roads. Typical, I guess, but the older I get the less I can tolerate winter. I really would move, but both of my kids live in NE.
