Exhaust tips too large ??

Ok so finally some warmer dry weather.
decided to fit the Ali express tips and they seem way too large ....even with the clamps very tight ,one broke it was that tight .they would not even hold up on their own weight...the end of exhaust measures 60mm x 80mm the tips measure 95mm x 80mm .

unless I am missing something simple.
ive attached some pics.

That's kinda the problem with buying straight from ali it can be a gamble. Could take them to an exhaust shop they could make them work.

Garage List
For anyone with this kind of exhaust tip, the clamps should run through the tip so they can hold down on to the original exhaust. Feed the clamp through the slots so the top is free inside and will hold the bottom of the tip against the exhaust. The sellers should really provide some photos to help installation.

I have these coming so I’m interested.

As shown in the pics, isn’t that the proper positioning of the clamps? They fit within the open slots. So when tightening, the top and bottom of the tip squeeze down onto the exhaust pipe. Are you saying it’s not clamping down tight enough?

I’ve also seen others did not use the clamps that came with them. They are not stainless and will rust

Sorted thanks feel like a plonker ,,,,,I took the original clamps off when they came last year to replace with stainless ones so never took note how they fitted .
I have got them on and for the money they are great nearly impossible to get them exactly level (I am super anal about stuff like that lol) but ive spent an hour trying to tweak ,pics enclosed. just waiting for bit warmer weather so I can fit my M Performance spoiler also.
thoughts please...

Left side is off by half a millimeter, bro.

Jk it looks great!!! Perfectly even to me. You had me scared for a minute there. Mine will arrive soon and I was hoping there would be no issues.

this post reminded me to check my clamps to see if theyve rusted over and holy moly its like a blob of rust. sprayed some liquid wrench on them and ordered some new clamps on amazon. will change them out soon.

Agree, looks very nice.

Hard to determine from the angles of photos precision, but looks very even.
