Can't find the tire/load index for my car. Can I assume it's 91?
Hello,
My tires are going pretty bad and i am looking to pick up new ones. I don't drive much tbh so i don't really plan on buying Michelin so i have been browsing other options. I checked the side of my car and it's 225/45R17 for both front and rear (i believe this is different depending on type of models you have or even rims). Anyway, I was looking into this affordable decent one from BF Goodrich and below are ones i found (I found few posts recommending the bottom one) View post on imgur.com Does it matter if I get 91 or 94 for the load index? I checked the sticker on my car but there is no mentioning it other than the size of the tire and air pressure. Found few posts but there are mixed responses. |

91 and 94 are both acceptable load ratings. See your manual for the appropriate pressure for the type of tire you that you install as it may not match your inflation placard.
