p.s. i now have kit which have siren with another design but it's part number specified in e90 alarm install guide and they are interchangeble with siren on the first pic, so everything should work

have you checked your option list on sites like bimmer.work ?
almost all pre-lci us bmw cars prewired and many lci

Unfortunately, my car was built 4/09 and apparently 2-3/09 is the cutoff. I have sat radio prewiring but not the alarm.

i've checked VINs of many cars from US auctions and i saw lci cars also prewired
did your interior mirror have semitransparent round lamp at the bottom ?

Pretty sure that's not how you tell if the cars are prewired. Run the VIN and you'll know for sure if it's pre wired or not.

i cannot agree
bmw will not put any surplus detail from factory
if your car will not have prewiring it will have interior mirror without clown nose
vin check should be done too, but as second measure

yep, e93 kit have another sensors and another siren bracket
actually all pre-2008/09 and many post 2008/09 bmw for US market prewired
you can provide your car option output here and we'll see if it prewired

you car do not have preparation
but that is do not mean that it is impossible to install alarm on your car
this is mean that you need to add wiring which connect rear left wheel arch, under hood space, headliner space and replace interior mirror
so this is more complicated retrofit
