I just got a text from my CA that an allocation is available, however he is telling my that performance center delivery is unavailable at this time? Has anybody heard if this is true or not? I was really counting on doing it.

Don't see why it wouldn't be available. I had a client sign up for an X5 45e just last week.

I also just learned that the Carbon Package (with buckets) IS available for current customer allocations.

Just needs to be made a Priority 9. It’s not rocket surgery.

Talked with him, sounds like the management team doesn't want to do them right now because of scheduling and issues that people have had trying to do them. I told them that regardless of how much a scheduling mess it might be I would like to try to do it, they said they would try .

Good news is I got the first modifiable allocation they got, last I heard I was #2 in line so it was a bit of a surprise to get the text.

If the allocation was just received today, the build could not have started yet (you need a VIN). Tomorrow is March 1 so seems to be on schedule, or maybe a tick ahead. .

Was basing that on the carbon seats production not starting till 3/23 - according to other threads.

And is that a referral to March 2023 or March 23, 2023?

CF Buckets SOP is 03/23. Month and year, not month, date and year.

And we are 1 day away, so not far fetched that it could be available as of the last day of February.

FYI, it is never to a concise date. More than likely there are G87s entering production or in production waiting for them to be installed, or with them already installed.
