Hypothetical McLaren S70/2 V2 engine
I am sure many of us have pondered what a hypothetical S70/2 version 2 - which I think would be called like an S70/4 for the cams, in a McLaren F1 successor (besides the new T.50) would have looked like.
What are your thoughts? This is just for fun. I think the obvious theoretical engine would basically be a V12 based on the S54. So something like 6.45 liter V 12 8300 rpm red line and 720 hp Maybe even a pinch more. It would have been the greatest NA engine of all time. Anyways, have fun with it. Think Gordon Murray would have gone with an entire different power plant? Or stuck with BMW? |

same, but there are many questions.
I mainly want to know what one more generation S65 / S85 would have looked like. Imagine a direct injection N/A V8 or V10 with one gen later tech. Could have been epic / Porsche 4.0 flat 6 like.
