just installed BMS meth kit!
Hey everyone i installed my meth kit into my car last night and whoa! For starters my car is a E92 2012 335i Msport 6mt, FBO, Pure stage 1 turbo, JB4 G5 ISO/FF wires E40. let me tell you this and this is with all honesty i LOVE this kit! it is my favorite upgrade so far! i cant even put the pedal all the way down in first or second or my car kicks out on me! it cleaned up my logs very well also! I havent put any E85 in my car yet but i am planning on it today after work. i cant believe i thought about just staying with E85 instead of meth since it was so close and avaliable to me. but from driving the car last night and today with only 91 in the tank and meth it feels WAY faster than it does when i had 91 and e85 mixed at 40%! cant wait to see what it does with both!
Install took me a long time about 3 hours, but i am a perfectionist when it comes to my car and wanted to make it look extreamly clean. i will post photos tonight, i gotta say i am a very very happy customer! i want to personally thank Mike at N54Tuning.com for sending me the kit! it came packaged well and nothing was damaged or missing, what more could a guy ask for? |

Awesome! Any thoughts on getting some dunk runs in? Or a trip to the strip?

I'm going to head back to the track here on the 8th. only part that sucks about it is it is only a 1/8 mile last time i ran it i ran a 8.5 at 87 logs looked horrible. logs are looking great now! so i think it is time to max out the turbo with map 6. i will post the results from the track on sunday.

haha yeah i wanna do it asap! kinda wanted to see if i could find a group doing it so i could get a better deal. if not i will get it done before this month is over. iam hoping to be around the 420whp mark. i dont think that should be unrealistic with my current mods. i will post it up for sure when i do get them.

I would be interested to see some before and after JB4 logs. Do you happen to have any? Were you already maxing out the turbo on E85 before the meth? I wonder how much power there is to be had for me if I did this since I'm already pushing the Pure to its max.

I work until tomorrow afternoon but i could post some up tomorrow evening so you can take a look. i havent maxed out my turbo at all yet. but with the auto tunes on the jb4 (map 5 and 3) the boost was targeted about 3psi higher with meth than it was with only e85. i really am not sure how much more power you would get since you already have your turbo maxed out. but if your IAT's are up there this would be a huge help. last night i ran my car and after warming my car up driving down the hill my IAT was 122 right when i went WOT the meth turned on and it instantly drop to 85

I ran cm10 for few months. I went with dual cm7/5 nozzles now. Smaller nozzles have better atomization. And the dual nozzle flows a bit more than the single 10. Up to you i guess

ill have to get another meth bung installed then cause my CP only has one right now. i'll look into what darkhold said and maybe try cm5&7 together. ill have to go check out VW paradise and pick up some 100% meth for track days hopefully you find some people that wanna go soon, if not i wouldnt even care if it were only a couple of us. i just want someone around familar with fine tuning map 6 on the jb4 so i can safely max out my pure turbo.
