Does anybody know a reputable paint shop near Hudson county/ bergen county that doesn't charge an arm and a leg? Had my front bumper resprayed last year, but it's already flaking off.

Not super close to you- but PJ's auto body in Roxbury does super high quality work and guarantees their work for the life of the vehicle. My family's gone to them for years, and they've made near totaled cars of mine look absolutely perfect. Once in 8 major repairs they had a faulty clear coat that started to bubble on me 6 months after a repair and they didn't ask any questions, they took it back immediately and had it perfect in 2 days for me. sold the car a few years later and it was still looking perfect.

They're a family outfit that does great work, fantastic blending, and stands behind their work. Don't know what else there is to say!
