G87 M2 C-pillar Rattle

I got a brand new G87 M2 and after ONLY 1000 miles the C pillar interior trim around airbag are rattling on some uneven road, very annoying... dealers donnt know what is going on. Is that because Mexico plant got some bad quality?

I wouldn't blame Mexico on this unless we start hearing way more of this.
Sometimes we just get unlucky. Dealer should rectify it for you soon hopefully. its not that difficult to open the interior pillar trim and investigate

Did you get this resolved?

The “rattling” I am referring to below, sounds like a pen-clicking sound.

I am also now experiencing driver-side c-pillar rattling at about 4.5-4.6k miles. Sound is more prominent in sport+ chassis, though there is still some rattling in comfort chassis. In either mode, the sound is intermittent as it does not always occur over bumps or even roads, but occurs moreso on the highway at higher speeds. This is bizarre as I did not have any recent work done, but I did have my rear driver window replaced, for which I assume they had to take apart that panel and airbag area.

Anybody have a similar situation?

Check your door pockets. Believe or not mine rattled with stuff in it.

Has nothing to do with Mexico. My German built G80 has had a rattle in the A pillar since when new. It gets worse in cold weather. Usually as the car ages things settle and get better.

Can confirm I've had this happen. I'm now particular about what goes in there.

When I first picked up mine it developed a rattle that sounded like it was coming from back there but was hard to pinpoint. I had it addressed on my first service and it wound up being a loose bracket on the exhaust.
