Honestly not sure, but it's quite annoying! I'd like my car to not start with the AC or the fans on but turn on when I enable climate control please -_-

my 2023 M2 (EU) starts with no AC if I didnt have it on before shutdown ,that setting seems to be always remembered.

You can code it in to enable the off switch. But yes, strange again they decided to decide for you when they come on or not. Like the heated seats you can no longer choose a temperature for them to come on, as apparently the car automatically chooses for you.

I wonder if you code higher temperature settings for the seats if that impacts the temperature at which they will automatically turn on for that setting? I have no idea, just guessing here. I would like them to come on when i request and just modulate to the setting temperature; so annoying.

Turned off all the climate control stuff in diagnostic mode, still made the Hellcat supercharger noise upon cold start. Whatever causes it is beyond me

Listened to the clip a few more times. Could be the starter motor pinion overrun clutch.
