Yes, I was kidding but I think Hyundai makes dependable and sensible cars in the more affordable price range. A friend of mine has an Elantra with 140,000 miles. It still runs like a top. However I won't be trading in my F87 for one.

I saw an F87 last night, I was approaching him from afar and it was nighttime. I just saw the taillights and thought it was a G87 (did I mention I was far?)

Got closer. A LBB car, impeccable. Incredible looking too. Can’t go wrong either way (I think that was modified somewhat, looked great).

I am a fan of the M2. Regardless of F87 or G87. I show them both respect and love. The 1M walked so the F87 could run. The F87 ran so the G87 could sprint.

All I can say is, everytime I pull up on a F87 with my G87, they show some love. And equally from me to them rightfully so.

I’ve also sent a few F87’s to gapplebees happy hour LOL. Not sure if that helps your decision.

I think BMW is trying to aim at the BRZ - Supra buyers with the G87 styling. It's not my style at this point but the twenty and early thirty somethings crowd will love it if they can swing the payment.

He probably can’t afford it. Unlikely he has an F87 either with that attitude. Typically people with an F87 show some sort of respect to their counterpart.

I disagree & I'm 47. The G87 looks like the natural progression of the previous generation when looked at the current M3 & M4. I will say I wasn't completely into the styling the first time I saw one, but it was also Zandvoort Blue, which does absolutely nothing for me. After checking out a lot of photos in various colors, decided I wanted one & went out & bought it.

Yes, you are right, beauty is in the eye of the beholder you may be 47 but I bet you are young at heart which is a great thing!

For a weekend car, I'm leaning towards buying another F87. For a daily, the G87 seems like a way better car. The price delta is not that big in Canada bettwen the two actually (low miles examples).
