Oh, man. I'd be prowling the docks like a wartime prostitute with five kids to feed.

This was posted a while back in another thread. I wish we could just have a single thread for each color as a sticky and everything gets posted there

In any case do you think the bi colored wheels would help offset the excessive black?

It’s subjective but I like the black wheels on TR, bi-color on BSM.

These pictures help me more and more to not wait for Individual. I think can learn to stay happy w/ TR and save 5k.

I like a little contrast and the pics I've seen so far with bicolor wheels + TR look really good IMO. That will most likely be my order (once my alloc comes in).

It's nice but I really feel like Red is an Italian car color. BMW and blue go really well together. They need to offer a proper blue for the M2 like LBB on the F87. Zandvoort doesn't cut it.

They needed to offer a proper metallic silver. If Red is an italian color, I feel Silver is color used for German cars?

Silver has been played out for so long that a lot of consumers are burned out on it. The vast majority of cars on the road are white, black, silver, and grey. We need more exciting colors in our lives! Cough, cough… Individual paint could easily resolve that if BMW would give G87 customers the option.

Man it seemed in my city like 8/10 of every E46 and E9x were silver. Anyone I knew that had one was always in silver. It did seem to be the BMW color for a good decade.

Silver became very hot for BMW circa MY 1996 around the time the Z3 launched. It just began to fizzle out within the past few years.

Totally agree. I am disappointed in the G87 colours and ended up having a choice of one colour, BSM, after seeing my original choice TR in real life.

I have managed to get a March build slot for an M3 Competition in Aventurine Red. Amazing colour, no doubt much better quality inside and should be getting that early May.

I am quite disappointed as I had been dead set on getting the manual G87 but now looking forward to owning the M3 and will buy a "fun" manual when storage and funds allow.

I get what you are saying but I'd take a Metallic Silver over this trend of flat/muted colors like Brooklyn Grays that you can see popular from RAV4s to Tundras.

And AW isn't just too plain and a go-to color for those that can't find a cool color? But it will always be a staple color. And for the G42 they had to offer two whites AW and MW . For me a metallic silver should be one of those staple colors.

I know it's a personal preference thing. I guess only thing I can say is too bad they didn't add at least one or two more colors. For G42, thank goodness for me they had PB.

Also nobody mentioned the M side vents aren’t on this car. Curious why.
I'm glad they're not 🙂

Jose Casas actually answered a question about why there is no cutout behind the front wheel and his answer was that it wasn't needed. I guess they were happy with wind tunnel results already. He also said, if you can believe it: "we did not include anything on the car that didn't serve a purpose".
