UK Build/Arrival dates

For anyone in the UK looking for info, it might be worth while phoning your dealer for an ETA update.

I've just been told my car goes into production on the 29th of this month (Nov) and an arrival date of week five 31st Jan into first week of Feb.

Also no option delete's so hopefully stays that way

Great news, when did you order?

I have been told March/April, ordered mid October.

I have been worried about losing HK and possibly HUD so that sounds promising.

I ordered August mate, HK will remain as it's M Performance. Any car regardless of model that isn't M Performance or M won't have HK.

HUD I'm not 100% mate but he said my car is going ahead as ordered, so fingers crossed

Will be great to see U.K. specs arrive and the opportunity to share photos and thoughts on the new model.

Sounds like it mate, I'm build week 49 delivery 5.

I would think our delivery batch will wrap up end of Dec for the boat journey

I think that there’s a UK launch late January and they are going to want some good PR around the event so the first lot of cars will not have spec deletions. If they haven’t planned it this way it’s pretty amateurish. May be wishful thinking on my part, we can only wait now

Think your right there, the dealer was saying there demo was arriving the same time.

It's possible each country has an allocated amount of parts for options, once there gone there gone.

Ordered my M240 middle of July only a week after launch but as everyone else in the uk have build date week 48 and delivery week 5 so already waited ages and ages to go…
I ticked nearly all the boxes and when last talking to dealer i expected him to say there were going to be some items dropped but no all fine so far…..
Dealer also said they won’t be getting any demo models at the moment….

Thundernight

Felt I had to really, I have always loved the old Techno Violet e36's from back in the day so the chance to own a new BM in a classic shade proved impossible to resist.

I've been told Feb delivery for my two as well.
Gone for Thundernight and Portimao, both with black interiors, and the crucial M technology pack with the bigger wheels, wider front tyres, and better braking and cooling.

Still haven't actually seen one in the flesh yet!

Good choice's mate, and again good news for us.

Thank you.
Yeah, was planning to keep the M2's for another year but the secondhand market is so strong right now so it seemed like a good time to change out.
I can't wait for the 16th for the embargo to lift... i shall be spending some time on youtube that day! I have a feeling the G42 M240i is going to be a cracker.

Yeah I agree, think the car is gonna be great and a great platform for the M2.

Definitely looking forward to seeing the reviews come through and think everyone is going to be pleasantly surprised

So, if your car arrives in February, will you collect it asap or wait for 1st March, new registration?

If I have the option, I think I will collect asap.

Good question mate, didn't really think of that.

Don't know how I'll be able to contain myself for a month knowing it's right there!

Just had a voicemail from my dealer to say delivery will be in March. Timescales have been pushed back, no reason given. The wait continues!

Just off the phone to my dealer and my car is still a Feb delivery.

All options for M performance are fine however any 220i and 220d have had touchscreen deleted.
