Quick order update on my end, ordered end of march was informed that my vehicle is 150 status now and it would be like a 4 week wait. Fingers crossed I can get my vehicle early june!

Congrats! Progress is always good news. I wish I had some too but last week I was still 112. I guess it's was scheduled for week 20 so that's next week? What was ur build spec, Mando?

When did you exactly ordered yours and you already got an open allocation that day ?

I put my deposit in mid Jan. and got an allocation and production number within a day for March build. My order was all options except for ACC and the M highlighters in Thundernight.

yes, seems the delays were "unusual" compared to those which ordered in February and march and they now had their cars delivered already or on their way to them ... but I still believe you car will be built this month or June at latest one way or another and will get to be a 2022 model after all since you put your order since January and not April or later...

So I was informed by my SA that lost my status 112 and dropped all the way back to 105. With no new production date announced. Apparently lots of other customers at my dealer getting calls including some with iX or i4 orders. I can't say I am surprised but I was hopeful that my status would finally move forward any day now. The dealer has given me an out and is willing to return my deposit. Sadly no other cars really to buy without a wait. Locally in Vancouver, I can find a few M340i and maybe the odd M440i but all of them are either black or white which is so boring after settling on Thundernight for these last few months. Don't know what to do. Wait it out and hope for a 2023 allocation? Order an i4?

I had the same thing happen to my customer too.
i4 for almost a 2 year wait.

Rough times for buyers and sellers. Zero control over the situation. So what does this mean with regards to my position in the cue? When the production resumes, is everyone's order still in the same priority as they were placed? Does the dealer have to re send the order or is it still kept? Will people skip ahead of me?

Sorry, you're experiencing this M5. I've been watching your experience since I'm in the same area. I ordered after you (March 31) so I doubt I will be receiving anything any time soon. Which dealership did you order from if you don't mind me asking?

it means the ordering manager will have to re-submit once BMW releases the 2023 model year info. most likely any order after you will also be getting pushed.

As for when your car goes 111, no real way to know. All I can say is the last M240i order our store had go into 111 for June prob was sold April 2, we have two other cars in 47, just depends how many other status 47 cars your store has that was sold before you. you could get June or you could get July, even if you get June or July it could also get pushed further down the line too.

Hi Denver , given all these lately delays and "returns from status 112 to 105 status" with some orders placed months ago , can you please share if your April 2 order with status 111 and the other 2 with 047 status went also into 105 status or they are still scheduled for production or already moved to 150 and beyond?

Well 105 and 47 are the same thing. Prob numbers but no production week set. My customers order did go from 112 to 105. BMW has not told us why and we are still waiting to hear back from them.

Hey guys. I'm out. Picked up a 2021 M440i xDrive instead. Gave up on waiting and this 440 was loaded to the gills including the exterior carbon pack. I wish a speedy delivery for those hanging on. Looking forward to seeing those 2023s.

No there are no unsold M440s in Vancouver at the moment. There is a few coming but most are only with the Premium Enhanced. This one was ordered in 2021 as one of the first in the dealership and was loaded to the gills with practically everything because it had the Premium Excellence package the highlights of which include the laser headlights. It didn't have the Track Package which I believe is the similar to M Pro package on M240 in that it adds cooling and larger brakes but not wheels. It does have the Exterior Carbon Package which includes carbon air curtain gills in the front bumper, carbon mirror caps, rear lip spoiler and rear diffuser but unfortunately didn't have the front splitter which is a bit of a miss. Maybe they were concerned about ride height or easy damage from owners.

Since the press release for the interior change on MY2023 models took place today and the new options and interior design (idrive8) seem already available on the European configurators, do you have any news on when we should be expecting the new ordering guides, bulletin and pricing for BMW Canada so we know approximately when we should be expecting to resubmit the MY2023 orders with the ordering manager?

We just received the 3 series order guide. I expect the 2 series to come this month.

I was told to expect late may/early june delivery so I guess they had allocation? I ordered towards the end of march

the one thing that appeals to me the most from having the new display and Idrive 8 is the ability to have google maps embedded in your instrument cluster. Since apple enabled this in a software update a while ago for CarPlay, hopefully BMW can bless us iDrive 7 users with this functionality.
