Valvetronic error 133E10

There's no check engine light and no decrease in performance. I performed a random check and only then noticed the code, attempted to clear it, but it persists. I'm hoping a valvetronic motor replacement isn't needed. I've been advised to inspect the wiring, but I'm unsure how to proceed. Any suggestions?

I understand you can re"train" the motor with software, but it will take a more advanced tool. Part of the process is in the following thread, although it's from people dealing with different codes: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1964888

I would look into it soon as any motor malfunctions will eventually affect the shaft.

eccentric shaft is probably worn as well as the bearings. I recently replaced my valvetronic motor with an OEM unit, did the calibration with real paid for ISTA, and I do get that code every once in a while.

Does the code go away or is it persistent? Do you notice any loss of power while the code shows up?

Code's don't self clear till 40 complete warm up, and cool down cycles. Light never comes on, but the code is always there when I check, or most of the time anyway
