Scouting a D.. carfax maintenance question

So at 30k it states on carfax that intake manifold was replaced. I called the dealership that did the work and they had down "replaced emissions montitoring component". I am assuming that maybe CBU cleaning was performed.
Anyone wanna chime in with their opinion and or experience? Thanks

Just get a car and do all the deletes, won't have to worry about CBU

That could possibly be the EGR, which tends to gunk up on some cars.

Sounds like a CBU cleaning and possibly an EGR replacement. Wasn't there an EGR recall for the D at some point? Could be that.

Can you provide the date of the emissions component change? I agree with other poster that we got an updated EGR valve and programming too. I would have to go dig up the date in my records.

My recall work was done on 3/23/12, so it could be that.
