Take a look at the link on the previous page. Parts aren’t available yet.

My guess is one is the lip similar to what is offered on the m240. And I’m betting that’s the one that’s priced at $775.

The wing has to be the one we’ve seen on the orange wrapped m performance model. I’d bet pricing on that is closer to 1500-2000. But I could be wrong, time will tell.

We haven't seen pictures of $775 model yet which is probably what you surmised - lip spoiler.

Pricing on the big wing from the link provided previously is 3200 euro. I think I recall from a prior thread that in the US this wing will cost something like $2700-$2800.

Yeah if you're basing it off whatever I posted when we first got that German price list from Essen, the conversion to USD was something near 3100. Hoping its cheaper than that but that's what I've budgeted for.

I love those door pins! I never even knew what a door pin was!

Thank you BMW for making the most frivolous "performance" upgrades ever. I'm going to ask my SA to order these and the CF mirror caps.

And then I'll say "don't ever tell me how much these ridiculous things cost -- just add it to the total."

From the existing catalog of parts available I specced out 10.6k w/out installation that I actually want. Kind of an eye opener...

I am curious as to who the "installers" are they use at the ports. Just an everyday service tech? If so, as I previously stated, I would prefer to have items installed by those actually specialized for that type of part vs worrying about a diffuser was put on with a warranty (as an example).

I'd rather have them port installed by BMW who has dedicated people installing parts on numerous cars day in and day out. Port installed options also get covered under the cars full 4yr/50k mile warranty.

Port installation is completely ruled out for me bc I have an HEA unit that's already at the port

Good thing there's a ton of information, and labor estimations on BMW's own website. I'm basically budgeting a percentage of one paycheck per month for a few months to cover all the parts.

edit: update parts estimate is now 12k

Your web developers need to update your site to include the G87 under 'COMPATIBLE WITH THESE MODELS:'.

I have not included these yet with a G87 M2 models for the site and will not be uploaded until the parts are released in our ETK system since they do not share the same part numbers for the G8x platform.

Understand and for the mirrors, I will go that route (assuming they are available). For rims (I am going with Vossen), exhaust (will be using a higher quality, cheaper titanium replacement and for suspension (will be using H&R), I dont care about the warranty. My friend's shop is a high end specialzed shop and has been modding the new M3 & M4 (tuning, intake, exhaust and other engine upgrades) and also specializes in Porsche and McLaren. There is a local shop that specializes in cf body upgrades, almost stricly on Euro manufacturers that I will use for any cf upgrades other than the mirrors and maybe the spoiler (not the goofy wing), depending on cost and availability.

Yeah, no bargain buying the parts from BMW nor having port installed. After adding it all up from BMW, may as well go for the M3 Comp.

That's awesome that you have someone like that to do installs. Good shops are hard to find, not everyone is so fortunate. The main thing I want to get port installed are the MP HAS because it will be covered under warranty. Can't tell you how many indy shops perform incorrect suspension installs resulting in blown shocks and/or premature bushing wear. If BMW does it at port you have nothing to worry about, problem is they sadly don't list that as a port install option. Maybe they'll offer it at some point, if not I'll do it myself.

High End Specialized Shops

South Florida is known for that! You are very lucky. If anyone knows of the equivalent in the Tri State Area please educate me!!
