Our Forged ARC-8s are back and better than ever. As part of our new Touring Line, these wheels bring Real Performance to a classic design in the fitments you love. Strength and Stiffness were prioritized in this revamp of our Forged ARC-8 and new forged features from our Sprint line were incorporated including the Sprint Line inner lip which offers more protection where it’s needed most.

Deeper Than Ever

Concavity was a priority when we designed the newest iteration of this iconic wheel. Since our profile 3 Flow Formed ARC-8s were released just after the start of Apex itself, it has become an iconic look in the BMW world. With the new freedom allowed to our engineers via the use of our Motorsport Blanks we’re now able to offer more concave fitments including profile 4 ARC-8s in select fitments for the first time ever.

Deeper Concavity: A High Profile Change

Back when we launched our first ever Forged ARC-8R wheel, we set out to make a wheel that could do it all. The old Forged ARC-8R featured an 1800 lb load rating, which made it a bit heavy. It also had great brake caliper clearance, because its spokes were less concave than the Flow Formed version of the wheel. The result was a lot of compromise, and it didn’t excel in any specific area.

Fast forward to today. With the recent addition of the Enduro Line, a Forged ARC-8 would no longer need to sport a high load rating. To save weight, we brought the load rating down to match the specs of the Sprint Line family. Because Sprint line wheels already offer exceptional brake clearance for most every caliper, we could let the ARC-8RT’s spokes go as aggressively concave as possible, only giving up clearance for a few race calipers that our other wheels can clear.

With less constraint related to clearing the largest brake kits, more concavity is possible with these new ARC-8RTs. The 19x11 ET44 on the rear of this F87 M2 is a perfect example of a profile 4 ARC-8RT, the most concave ARC-8s we’ve ever produced.

Three distinct forged families allow these wheels to exist with less compromise and more of the features that fans of the ARC-8 love.
