Wheel Repair Recommendations
Anyone recommend a wheel shop for curb rash repair? I've had wheels repaired in the past but was never 100% satisfied.
I've got some curb rash on my stock style 225m's and would look like to get them back to showroom quality, preferably in the $75-100/wheel range. I'm located in RI but Southern MA will work for me, even as far north as Boston.

I have a local autobody shop that I trust, I'm going to see who they use since I know they wouldn't settle for anything less than the best for their clients.

Sean is charging depending on how bad the rim is.... I had a very small scratch on one, and it was only 40 bucks. A relatively half a wheel curbed wheel will be up to 100, etc...
Mine was a custom color also, if rim is black or stock silver style, is cheaper I think |

Mine are alloy 225m, I was bouncing around the idea of having them powder coated but decided against it, I think these wheels look best in alloy.
Only one of my wheels is bad, two have moderate rash but nothing deep, and the last one is in pretty good shape but could use a refresh. Hoping to get them down for <$500

I talked to him last night and he's still quoting me $150/wheel. Time to play the game.

I'm late to the party but I've heard great things about Wheel Solutions in Boston.
He charges $95/wheel which seems to be a great price in the area, only downside is he has a small shop (one mand band) and can't hold onto your car - just the wheel |

Have you ever considered repairing them yourself? I just realized the curb rash on all my wheels and they came out great. I can post pics if you'd like

He only straightens wheels so curb rash or cosmetics have to go somewhere else. |
