PPK Questions 2012 e93

I know there is a lot of literature out there already PPK (Performance Power Kit), but when I click on a lot of the links they are dead or I find the same info I already knew. I found this website from a bay area business selling the upgrade that included a lot of info https://www.sf**************/bmw-per...r-n55-engines/. They mention there they "offers the BMW Performance Power Kit for N55 equipped vehicles produced up to and including 02/2012 (we cannot flash vehicles with build dates 03/2012+). Compatible BMW models are the BMW 135 (E82/88), and BMW 335i (E90/E92/E93)."

I was concerned my car may not be capable due to it's year? I'm very interested in this as it appears there are no mods needed except for software upgrade.

Can anyone share their experiences with this upgrade? Can anyone recommend a shop in South Orange County CA?

Thank you

Bad news for me…

Not sure whet he means with?

“Unfortunately the ppk we offer is only for 2008-2012 E series n55 engines with a build date of 03/12 or earlier. Your vehicle was built 05/12 and uses a DME which needs a certificate to enable the ppk.”

***update***. I think I’m reading I need to go through dealership for this certificate. Wonder what they’ll charge!?

***update***. Well I figured it out. Gonna cost me an extra $1,130 from BMW to get certificate and then I found someone who will install MPPK for $150 remotely. Fun stuff..
