How much lighter are those compared to the stock wheels? Notice any differences?

That would be a no brainer for me. The bi-color wheels are much more intricate & aggressive in a classy way. The solid black mesh easily get lost & all the details of the nice wheel / rim are mostly hidden.

Well adding to my collection of parts that are waiting for my delivery 🚚 my H&R Super Sport springs came in. I’ve ran these on my 370Z, Scat Pack and F82 and absolutely love them! Great lower fitment with daily accessibility! Picture of my F82 for ref! Also a picture I found of someone’s G87 with the same springs and spacers (I’ll order the spacers next week) 😌

Where are you guys pulling this information that PS4S* are grippier than Pzeros*?

Is there a comparison or test I missed?
Or are we just parroting stuff?

Serious question as I’m 100% curious how we can assess this.
It’s personal preference for a lot of people. I’ve almost always switched to Michelin tires on the last 5 cars and I prefer the characteristics of their tires compared to Pirelli or Goodyear or Continental. They’re generally the most “balanced” when it comes to performance vs comfort. A lot of people will also argue they look better.

Yeah I get that, and do like the Michelins too (although I had bad experiences with the PSS, the PS4S were great).

I am speaking of the so called tire lottery and the assertion they have more grip.

I think the assertion is that people simply prefer Michelin and getting Pirellis is considered bad luck for them. I know I would have been slightly annoyed with Pirellis based on my personal experience with them, but I wouldn’t have gone out of my way to replace them immediately.

That's cool, but we were discussing the Pirellis having less grip just above my initial question. Hence my question. And I've seen it multiple times over other forums too, it's a common debate, and I am curious if there are tests proving it.

That's good to hear. I have heard of folks in the G80 forums seeing failures in the shocks (which should be like ours), and got spooked of thinking of lowering...

Are those adjustable? I'd like to get springs that are not adjustable, and springs that aren't just thinner springs of same length (thus flexing more, and lowering the car).

Did you measure them? Are they actually shorter than stock?

They are not adjustable and I haven’t measured them yet. I get the car in September and I will then

First back road trip into the foothills. M HAS felt good. No complaints except having to keep it under 4000 RPM. Lol. 1,100 miles to go.

4,000 RPM?
I may be the bearer of good news then.

You can run the engine up to 5000 RPM until 600 miles, and to 6000 RPM from 600 to 1,200 miles.

Enjoy!
