That is how it is connected on the 2022.

I'm not sure how I would feel about them from a sound standpoint in my own car, but I have magnetic shifters on my sim racing rig. Let me tell you, it's an unusually satisfying feeling. I can see the appeal.

Me gusta.

I finally got these same tips (took them 1-1/2 weeks to actually ship them out) a couple of days ago and got them on today.

A little weird install especially since they come with zero instructions. They fit extremely loosely over the existing outlet pipe and then the 2 hose clamps sort of fit into the slots on the new tip and then when fully clamped down, the tip only fits against the existing outlet pipe on one side. I assumed that the clamp screws go on the bottom for easier installation so this left a huge gap at the top - if you put the screws on the clamp at the top then the gap would be at the bottom. They are very firmly attached despite this but they could have made the fit a lot better since these are ostensibly made specifically for the M240i. The fit seems more like a universal fit but still probably better than the ones that use set screws.

Another thing I didn't like is the way they welded it up inside: Inside each tip, there are 2 pipes about 1-7/8" diameter each welded internally but there is baffling where they welded it together - it isn't smooth inside. Not sure what affect, if any, it will have on performance/HP output.

They look good and for $200 - I guess you get what you pay for ....

Thank you. This is perfect.
I’m on the hunt for another USB module on the cheap that has part of the power cable on the back side. I want to use those parts to build a wiring harness.

Found one last night that should’ve worked, but it sold before I had a chance to buy it

Funnily enough it was my race wheel that convinced me the clicking would drive me insane, though it's not magnetic just clicky.

I bought these for my g42 ands they fit pretty well and were easy to install and I feel confident they won't interfere with the pedals. I recommend putting the seats all the way forward when you do the back seat install. Then, make sure the track is clear of the mats and put the seats as far back as they will go. Then do the fronts.

I found that I needed to use a few of the adhesive velcro patches to position clips in just the right spots, particularly on the driver's side mat. However the vast majority were with the easily removable clips.

I would say they're worth the money compared to the stock mats for sure.
Also, I'd recommend you let them air out for a few days with a fan on them if at all possible. They do smell of plastic straight from the box.

Not cheap from the dealer, but I fitted some a few weeks ago.

They just pull out of the seat, I never bothered to wire them up.

Not sure how far down the rabbit hole you are looking to go.

TIS Attached. The connecting cables are a mystery, you could get the part #s off the one that exists.
