Hi guys, just popped over from the 3ers.

My 330i is going to be 4 year old in the summer and a couple of weeks back I got a call from the dealers asking what my plans where, as the car is low mileage I had planned on keeping it for a while longer but after a bit of negotiation and discount I left a deposit for a Thundernight M240i.

Most of the paperwork has been completed and I have a build slot for April / May but reading some of the posts here I’m guessing it’s going to be a longer wait.

Anyway hopefully it won’t be too long until I can join in on the fun.

Great choice on the M240i, especially Thindernight! I recently came from a 2020 330i and treated me extremely well, but the M240i is a blast. Any excuse to hop in the car is a good excuse. It will be well worth the wait!

Sounds great. What options did you spec?

Last week I put a deposit in a black M240i which is due for delivery mid feb but I’ve agreed with the dealer to wait to register it on 1st March. Guess it was a cancelled order but it had everything I wanted on it and I couldn’t wait for months.

Great choice my Thundernight car should be landing at dealers very soon and I’ve also arranged to collect 1st March as with being so close want the new reg. However I’ll literally be counting down the weeks as can’t wait to get in the car - dealer will be fitting the M exterior pack and the 50 years badges

Nice, not too long to wait then.

I think I’ll go for the gloss black kit from AutoID, the M kit looks good but is really expensive

I came from a 2019 BMW 330i xdrive to a M240i xdrive. You will love this car’s driving dynamics, comfort, sportiness and handling! With the push of a button, it can go from being a great daily to a very fast sports car.

I ordered mine in December 2021 and it arrived in April 2022. So I think the delivery timeline is reasonably accurate.

My build hit 160 last week and delivery is looking like 19/6, so fingers crossed it’s here for some nice summer weather

My order has now hit 165, according to the Genius it should be at the dealers between 1/7 & 9/7. So another 8 weeks to go
