New Build/Order Progress (M240i)

I just saw mine again on my way to another work appointment and it looks far better with it cleaned up. Strange part is they gave me Pirelli tires when I got the non RFT tires from factory. Quite odd to not get the Pilot Sports.

I'm sure a supply chain issue, but I do not prefer Pirelli over the Michelin PS4. I do have aftermarket wheels I'm installing IF they fit well, so I hope this is moot for me.

That's what I got on mine as well, having ordered the performance non-rft.

I assume that the Pirelli P Zeros are the performance tires (225/255) and the Michelin PS4S the high-performance tires (245/255 with 893M rims).

My ride is on the Guardian Leader, which is scheduled to arrive at port tomorrow. Unlike most responses I have seen, my vehicle seems to be running ahead of schedule unless it gets hung up at the port in California. I was told Christmas delivery, but I don’t see how it could take five weeks to go from the port to the dealer.

Hopefully I can pick mine up tomorrow.

Sirius deleted and so was HD radio and the wireless charging, which is no sweat to me because I have the Harman Kardon and the Sirius XM app.

how do you know the wireless charging with deleted?

They let me turn it on and a placed it in the wireless charging spot and there was no charge.

I'll reconfirm when I actually pick it up. It may have been the phone case I have interfering with the charge, but I doubt it.

Also, as others have pointed out, it is an option, not a standard feature.

For what it’s worth, my CA said it was something like an 800 option and it barely functioned, so I’m not sure we are really missing out.

Well, my car has been stuck in Brunswick now for over 1.5 weeks, going on 2. I talked to the Genius' today and there's still no release date scheduled but now they are saying it's going to ship via truck from Brunswick straight to Michigan to the dealer. It's not going to Baltimore anymore I guess... Wierd, very weird!

Man, sorry to hear that! It is very weird. GLOVIS SPIRIT was in Baltimore for 5-6 days and moved to four different piers while there...weird too! The good thing is your car's built and coming, but waiting sucks, I know.

My car was at the in transit step on the tracker yesterday, but now it moved back one step to “at the port”. I do know for a fact my car is on the Guardian Leader, which reached its port in California yesterday. The tracker is no bueno.

I went by my dealer to test drive a Brooklyn Grey m240i this afternoon but the guy who test drove it before me immediately bought it. Oh well. I expect to really drive one over at Thermal in a couple of months.
