Hello I have a e93 that gives me roof movement impaired warning when I put the top down everything works as it should I hear both clicks from the locks and then it gives me the warning roof movement impaired
Windows do not go up as they should after putting top down

any help would be appreciated

Internet guess from a non-cabriolet owner, but it sounds like a either a switch or sensor or the wiring is broken. Probably not a big deal to replace/fix, but you're going to to have to track it down.

Step 1,
Is the partition in the trunk down?

When I was restoring my E93, the roof wouldn’t come down, and it turned out that the trim bezel of the rear window had fallen off and was impairing movement. I would check all points of movement in the trunk and inside the car around the rear window and middle roof.

Those are the first places I would look
