I have something similar to what you are describing. Do you have the curved display or the one from iDrive 7?

I have the id8 curved screen. I know some guys are hearing the vibration noise coming from the left side of the screen but what I hear seems to be coming from underneath the steering column. It’s intermittent and subtle

My wife’s 2015 435 has a similar noise and that is definitely coming from the steering column

Yeah, that definitely fits my description too. It’s been difficult to pinpoint because it goes away so quickly when I try to pinpoint it, press on trim, etc.

It seems that when the vibration from the road hits a certain frequency it vibrates. Sometimes by speeding up or slowing down it goes away.

I’m not sure it’s worth the effort to take it to the dealer. I’m sure they would just say “ unable to duplicate “

Same here. I’ll keep an eye out in case someone had the same issue but found a definitive fix for it. I did have a good experience from the dealer when my previous F30 had a buzzing in the A pillar. They took it seriously and helped to isolate and fix it.

I have this rattle, it's a metallic tinny sound that lightly vibrates over certain road surfaces. I checked the springs under the centre storage door and it did not solve it. I'd love to find out how to get rid of this.
