hello, Just to let you know That i installed this small box with lid in the central consolae, what Do you think?? It's from Amazon... Only problem i see is the finish matte. Let me know your thoughts...

First.. just a heads up this won't work for anyone with a manual transmission.

That said.. survey of one, the matte finish looks really bad against the piano black.

If your interior looks like this below, then no it won't work.

Looking at this interior photo, it appears the center console buttons have a matte finish. If so, do they make the same for the autos? I hate the shiny finish around gear selector.

Any advise on how to remove the block from the console? I almost broke my trim tool trying to pry it out.

actually the fit of this small box is perfecft, it looks OEM, the quality is high, no complains at all, ill keep it. i highly recommend.

In both photos posted it appears to sit lower than the other trim, that's why I asked.

Not at all, is sits at the same level, but it has a small gap to let the lid being open.

It really looks and feels BMW oem
