Just got magnetic shifters and it’s throwing me off a bit. I never noticed it on the OEM shifters, but is there a delay on upshifts during low throttle (in sport+)? The gear number changes on the cluster, but it feels like a good half second before the transmission shifts. On moderate / hard throttle, I don’t notice a delay.

Normal? Or could it be a delay in a faulty magnetic shifter?

Mine has a noticeable increase in delay at lower throttle for sure (stock shifters). I'm having a hard time transitioning to automatic transmissions I think. I keep lifting the throttle when I go to paddle shift.

wouldnt that be the sensible thing for it to do? if you not hammering it you dont need aggressive shift surely?

Completely normal. Shift speed is associated with amount of throttle input. I have experienced this, and I am using OEM shifters. Happens in all drive modes.
