///M Mixed Reality - 2023 M2

They need to offer this wrap from factory.

Edit: I'm not serious, but it is interesting how much better the design looks with the camo. I also think the car would look good in a flat dark gray paint like the base of the wrap.

It's a bit too busy for me but if the only choices were this and Zandvort Blue, I'd still pick it in a heartbeat!

Real BMW M2 Driven in Virtual Reality (M Mixed Reality)

I thought this was really weird, really scary, but also really awesome. Would anyone get behind the wheel of this car?

I don't get the point of driving a real car in VR either. Looked like the lamest autocross I've ever seen. I'm so tired of all these car companies and their gimmicks.

I'm not sure, it seems like a pretty cool concept. I've never done autocross so I wouldn't know for sure but this seems more interesting. It's like sim racing but you actually get the g forces and everything else you normally miss out on.

One thing I am curious about is latency. I wonder how immediate the inputs are from the car to the augmented reality/VR. Either way this seems like a pretty cool use of VR tech. I'd still be terrified about something going wrong and plowing into something.

That looks like a ton of fun.. I could get into it but I'm a control freak, so I have to mentally prepare myself for such a simulation and letting go. Maybe take a handful of Xanax or something.

I wear glasses so that gets in the way of immersive headsets. It was torture in the 3D TVs era but Sony just developed a proprietary VR headset, which has its own vision correction adaptor. You put in your prescription and you longer need glasses to utilize it. When BMW copies that technology, then I'll consider it.

Looks scary to me as well. Just think if the device mis-calibrated and thought you were somewhere else in the parking lot... you could go slamming into a wall or other object. No thanks!

If I was in a giant parking lot like that, I'd much rather have an actual autocross course with cones.
