I do like it. Although most of the lower bits wouldn't last the end of my street.

The base car is already super busy...all these kits make the car look like a transformaers movie prop.

Agreed. Splitters, spoilers and cf trim can be tastefully done but all these winglets and flares make it into that transformer or space age styling. Hell, I love Akrapovic's G80 wing but not on the G87 (which last I checked, they didn't even make it for the G87).

Agree 100%. There exist tasteful additions without making the car look like an amusement park ride.

Def not for the Bud Light drinking crowds. Personally, I find the G87 as a in-your-face kinda car, design wise it is very busy anyway. I don’t get folks that see it as a I.e. DB9 that will be ruined. The M2 is for the ballsy 25-35yrs old who wants to smoke street tires on the street and preserve R2 compound thread on the track

Au contraire mon frere. Seems to me the 25-35 year old cited is best suited to a Mustang GT or Hellcat along of course with the Bud Light you must certainly enjoy. The G87 is a sophisticated automobile most certainly designed and engineered for a mature audience more interested in the actual driving experience than tire smoking stop light to stop light playground displays. In fact, I’d wager many G87 owners having grown up evolved from the aforementioned Ford/Stellantis products having understood their limitations. All in my opinion of course.

Based off the opinions expressed in here he is wrong as he’s the minority NOT liking it. What are you his fluffer and why do you give a fuck? He clearly overreacted to a joke and got mega sour and now here you are doing the same. If y’all don’t like the car that’s totally fine but maybe step off your soap boxes about it. Next I suppose you’ll both say the new M3/4 is stunning. Who woulda thought an AARP joke would hurt feelings?

Not liking it? I have an opinion and don’t care about others.
You’re the joke Skimpy.
Clearly not an overreaction.
You couldn’t hurt my feelings lightweight.

I dunno if that's reasonable. I think basing a global feeling the public has about a thing solely on the people responding positively inside of an internet thread I don't think is the best indicator, mostly because we can't count the number of people that throw up in their mouths when they see this car and then hit the back button quickly, without contributing to the discussion.

But, what I do think is a reasonable indicator - Adro going out of business because they couldn't sell enough ugly kits to make the ugly cars look better. Remains to be seen. You could be proven right, I guess we'll see.

relax buddy. I appreciate your opinion and anybody who does not like this car. I can’t believe your feelings aren’t hurt though. You sound like a super nice guy whom “doesn’t care about others”. I bet you do the BMW brand of drivers a great service while on the road. Cheers

Yes the subjective nature of this will garnish many opinions, I know that. I made a subtle AARP joke and several folks are very hot about it. 😂 who knew? I’m pretty old myself so I would think I’d be offended but…..no, no I’m not. I don’t really like the car that much so this heat is hilarious to me. I’m not trying to die on M2 hill. 📢It was a joke! Holy fuckin hell!!!!

For the not so bright among us (Skimpy):
“I don’t care about others” meaning others’ opinions not others as in other people. Poor reading comprehension is a clear sign of an intellectually challenged individual.

And yes, I am a super nice guy who doesn’t suffer fools gladly.

Stay in your lane. I’m out.
