Allocations have not been released and more than likely won’t be for a few more weeks.

I was strongly considering it after looking at the revealed car.
Hated the leaked photos, but somehow got warmed up to the official photos and videos. Definitely a car I would look back at when parking. Could never say the same about the G8X, which was a deal breaker.

Thanks for sharing the ordering guide, I was warm to the notion of $76,5k

This is a $120,000 out the door loaded as I’d order it. So, whoever is saying wait for the recession is right.

The standard M sport seats seem like a good choice at this time ! Makes the decision easier for the seat choice now.

Totally understand but the carbon seats just transform it for driving on track regularly. Such a more pleasent experience but if you just plan on taking it to the track 1, 2 times or year or not at all it's a no brainer to stay with normal seats.

They cleverly made the packages in a way to make money, reminds me of the only way to have comfort access on my X3 was to buy 6200$ package of stuff I don't want.

I'm living without comfort access. At least it has push button start so it's not too bad.

To be fair, the CDN dollar took a beating, so Canadian pricing might be high because they haven't adjusted the rest of the lineup yet.

They probably expect the take rate on the $13k carbon package to be low.

Says "ZBN will add 7MM to order" where 7MM is "M Race Track Package".

Interesting that the German configurator calls it "M Race Track Paket" outright but BMWCA renames it... Wonder if it's due to some liability precaution to avoid an idiot suing them after slamming into a wall at the track lol

The F87 had a beautiful dashboard and proper analog appearing gauges. The San Luis G87 dash identifjes closer to a Tesla...
The F87 is the classy classic. The speed spec in the 260 lb beefier G87, appears about the same despite the 50 HP gain.

Key word is had. F87 interior is now badly dated.

It's a PDF, you can't view it through the APP with a phone, you have to load the page through a web browser and open the link with Adobe.

Wondering if there are other Canadian-market deals out there.
Historically M car have always been cheaper in Canada if looking at exchange rate, right now the M3 equivalent is also around 10-12k cheaper.

Like it or not, it's just a matter of time until every BMW has the same dash layout.

I know mind the screen as much has loosing physical HVAC buttons and adding a step to activate heated seats. That is going backwards to me.

Right - looks like CAD has dipped recently. Maybe BMW thinks it’s easier to manage pricing by periodically adjusting options instead of the base price?

Straight conversion to USD isn't necessarily accurate though. Just because the USD is strong and hence devaluing the Canadian dollar for Americans, for Canadians that CAD$76k may still feel just like USD$76k to Americans.

You are perfectly correct.
Due to daughter going to school in Montreal I have a foot in both countries and what you just said has been my experience.
