It is unfortunate that ZB does not look more like this in person.

It is significantly lighter in person. ZB was an option for me until I saw it in person. It is difficult to warm up to. Individuals that have seen it in person either love it or hate it. There is no middle ground.

I hope I get to see one before March production or whether my order gets locked for changes.

With the limited choices I’ve actually bounced around and considered all the colors.

I really wish it were a deeper hue. I would probably have taken any other shade of blue. I am very preferential to blue sports cars, but my first car had the same faded baby blue and I just can't . . .

Maybe it does in certain types of lighting.Car colors can change quite a bit depending on how bright or dark it is outside. These pics do look quite a bit darker then when i saw the color on a sunny day but these pics are from a dark overcast day.I do prefer how it looks in these pics.

Agreed. I feel the same pertaining to blue exterior paints. Blues are generally my number one preference.

Over saturation from phone cameras is totally changing the reality of what it really looks like. I saw it in the the shade and later that same day in direct sunlight. It only got worse in the sun. My 0.02, it is horrible. Not for me…

Honestly, I think people simply like the F87 design more and are voicing it on a social media platform. If one person is vocal that's one thing, even a small group, but it sure seems like a whole lot of people are questioning BMWs design choices. After the G80/82, you can't blame them.

I think it is more a combo of resistance to change, the sense of belonging to a "mob" of "haters", and fear of buyers' regret. There are a few details I like on the F87 but I think I prefer the overall G87 design. Is it perfect? No. However it has such a stance that, for me, it helps forgive its sins easy-ishly.

I am just poking fun at the posters that brings nothing more then short negativity. Kind of funny.

From a mechanical standpoint, I greatly prefer the G87 versus the F87. Cosmetically, at this very moment, I prefer the F87. The performance and handling are of far more importance to me and because of such I am willing to overcome the cosmetics. The G87 is going to be a beast!

The F87 is better looking compared to the G87 IMO, but I'm still getting the G87. I hope the LCI has some aesthetic changes to address some issues I have with the design but I'm not relying on that alone. I have some plans to make the car look better once I get it. Once the reviews come out it will open peoples eyes up that this car is just too good to pass up on. Yes, it's not as pretty as the F87, as light or small, but if it performs like an F87 CS at a much lower price then I'm sold. I think one thing everyone can agree on is at it doesn't have a front end like the M3/4.

This color just doesn't do it for me. I've tried to like it....just can't.

Right now I am deciding between BSM, BG or TR. My order with my local dealership is a currently a BSM with Carbon and Shadowline Packages. I think BSM will look great with a set of gold 763M wheels.

I must be the only one that thinks the f87 is ugly.
It has the same boring design of the f80 (including the weird parrot fish like openings in the front) with an out of proportion munchkin like body.
Then again, I really like the design of the g80 and the clown shoe so...

I like the F87 a lot. In particular in black. However, after going back and forth looking at a G42 m240i and a couple used F87s on the same lot I decided I like the G42 a bit more. The lower roof line and profile are big improvements IMO. Can’t wait to see the G87 in person next year.
