Couldn't agree more. The price point on the 240i is much more reasonable to allow plenty of $ for mods.

If this try is the new M2, I need to shift my brand loyalty somewhere else.

no—-but my guess is BMW didn't want people putting out those photos. Doesn't mean it's fake they just wanted to present the car in their own way after keeping it mysterious for so long.

My guess is BMW will release official photos sooner than later to clean up this mess. At least more visible teasers.

This pretty much seal the deal for me, next one is a manual G80.
Despite the ugly front end, CSL grilles make the G80 a lot less bad (still is tho), but there is just no hope for this design.

I'm guessing whoever gave the OP those photos probably asked to take them down. BMW likely saw and can probably pinpoint what car that was and where it was to determine who might have taken the photos.

Probably should have removed all the background parts of the photos to not give location away.

The taillights on the white car are rotated while the camo car are horizontally flat across. (Camo car looks better) Hopefully this is some knockoff kit. The flares are also different but that might be just the angle.

Fingers crossed this isn't the final product.

Looks the same to me—-the photo angles are different.
