You'll get a different answer from everyone. Case in point, I say (and did) LSD first. No point in making more power on these cars if you can't put it down in low gears, IMO.
The real question is, how do you intend to use the car and what's your driving style? if all you care about is smoking other cars on the fwy, then yeah sure get all the power adders you want. If you care an inkling about handling traction, then there's a LOT the chassis needs to be truly competent. |

Tune, OCC, DCI, FMIC, if you have an I then LSD, DP's, Meth if you want and then upgraded Turbo's. Don't forget some suspension work along the way. Good luck.

I noticed some of you put fmic after dp or not in the list at all. I personally think it's highly recommended after a tune and a dci or whatever intake you get.

Tune>Intake>FMIC>Downpipe
Suspension somewhere in the middle. LSD if you got bank. The reality is the "proper" way to add power in this car would be to do all the power mods at once. You get the intake for the breathing of the tune. You got the FMIC to combat intake air temps which keeps the motor happier. You get the downpipes to reduce the back pressure. |

Yeah it's probably more pronounced in RWD if you are talking about putting the power down effectively. But the handling issues over rough roads would be systemic to all non-M e9x's. It's the darned soft bushings - they are crap!

i went DCI , DP, FMIC, Tune, then up next is exhaust, charge pipe, oil cooler, turbos, then LSD ... IMO its best to get the bolt ons out the way first, as to reduce the strain on the engine when a Tune is added

Tune you can make use of without any other mods as you can run a light tune, so do that first, then you really need DCI, IC and DP's all at the same time when you dial up the tune, then exhaust etc after that.
