He has not mentioned anything to me yet. He seems hesitant to give out any type of timeline, which I guess is indicative of the times we are in. As of now I assume my car will be a 2023 and if I am lucky may have it by December as I have been waiting for an order for a few months already.

I finally got my production number. I found a dealer that had two orders in from march that hadn't gone into production yet. so i was able to make changes to the order. fingers crossed it actually gets made.

either the dealer or the BMW Genius can tell you that if you give them a call with your production number.

I called them. It's scheduled for week 20. they said they're currently in week 18. so two more weeks before production begins.

nice! if its stays around that week then you might see a late June , early July delivery which is great timeline speed! I wish I had so big luck with the allocation for a MY22 even if I ordered since April...

Week 20 gang! Same for me, fortunately things are moving smoothly now *knocking on wood* so it shouldn't be too much longer for us.

My CA said my car might be bumped and might start production by end of this week. Not sure where he heard that, genius is still saying week 20… we'll have to see

I got extremely lucky that they had ordered the car in the beginning of March but it hadn't gone into production yet. I was actually in line for an allocation at a different dealer and luckily I decided to check around. We will probably have some of the last ones produced

Yeah again I got lucky. I tried to order one in April but the dealer lied and didn't actually have open allocations. This order was placed by the dealer at the beginning of March so I got to keep that place in line and still make the changes I wanted. Mad lucky

Talked to my CA this afternoon who stated that everything has almost come to a complete stop production wise except for SUV's. He said he is pretty sure I will be looking at a 2023. Ordered 2/4, allocation that day. Pushed back twice to current week 24 production. Guess we'll see unless I pull the plug on this whole deal.

That's messed up. Did they give you a production number? If not it sounds like they never got allocations and are stringing you along

I got the production number the day I ordered it. I know the CA, straight up guy. He showed me the available allocation as we were entering the build.
