Post E92 335i Arma Speed Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake

Hello everyone, I would like to take a minute and share with you my E92 335i N54 arma speed carbon fiber cold air intake.

Since I am based in Cyprus (Europe) where the temperatures gets really hot especially in the summer, I wanted to buy a good quality cold air intake system and not the DCI option.

After a lot of research I was able to find several options and I decided that the best value for money option was Arma Speed Intake. So in 2019 I bought the cold air intake and since then I really enjoy it. Immediately after the install I was able to identify a difference in the engine sound and in performance. The sound got a bit heavier and you can hear the air coming into the engine. I include a link with a video below so you can hear.

With regards to performance and in combination with all the other upgrades I have I am not worrying any more for high intake temperatures in my engine and this allow me to push the engine for more power.

With regards to cosmetics I believe this is the best looking aftermarket intake for this engine platform. What do you think?

What intake do you have? I would love to hear your comments.

You can find me on Instagram at 335i_silver where I am posting photos and videos of my car.

Perfect! I'm a little bias though being Titanium Silver M-sport with similar mods.

I was considering this intake a while back only thing the stopped me was the price. Good to hear your been happy with it. Are you running stock exhaust with DP's?

Those front fenders!

I've had the Armapseed intake on my 1M for several months now.

I definitely have lower IAT's when queuing for roll races, and it looks the business IMO. Otherwise, performance seems no different to the DCI's I had on previously.

The Gruppe M carbon intake is also very nice.

It is one of the more expensive options yes, but since my car is a clean car with 100k KM on it, I am trying to buy only the best value for money (for my opinion ) options for all the upgrades I do. Also since I am based in Cyprus the prices are always higher for all products due to shipping and import duties.
My car setup includes a full Bomiz Valved exhaust with VRSF catless downpipes and AEM water methanol too, which also helps on keeping the intake temps low.

I was considering Gruppe M too, but it was so much more expensive than the Arma Speed and looked the same. Therefore I went for the Arma Speed which at the time was a new company for me and since then I see that they are becoming more and more famous with their quality and range of products.
